Overview
Achronix Speedcore eFPGA IP enables the integration of a flexible, programmable logic fabric directly into a System-on-Chip. This allows chip designers to add post-production adaptability to their devices, enabling them to update algorithms, support new standards, or customize the hardware for different customers after the chip has been manufactured. The eFPGA fabric consists of look-up tables (LUTs), memory blocks, and DSP blocks, similar to a standalone FPGA, but with much higher bandwidth and lower latency to the rest of the SoC.
